Legacy Official is a limited company, set up as a commercial enterprise to provide registered charity, The James Brindley Foundation, with a reliable and sustainable income stream. We hope that it will allow us to deliver and grow our message to society and our work with children and young people, and that it will also become a means of engaging the young in creative and constructive interests and work related opportunities.
In the aftermath of covid and more recently, the cost of living crisis, face to face fundraising for many charities, has taken a nosedive. Future survival and growth will depend upon creativity in developing diverse income streams. For The James Brindley Foundation, local face to face fundraising will be at the heart of our community action for the foreseeable future, because we believe that charity begins at home.
